Timber merchant’s website showcasing their products and services. The website also features a knowledge base and blog section, providing informative articles on timber treatments, structural timbers, and other related topics.

My part on the project

  • Custom WordPress theme.
  • Custom Gutenberg blocks and Dynamic JavaScript animation.
  • Converting WooCommerce shop to products showcase for the future expand.

Custom WordPress theme

The theme was built using Tailwind CSS, a maintainable framework that simplifies styling. JavaScript was used to create animations on scroll.

WooCommerce

The client was looking for a way to use WooCommerce for the possible expansion at a later date. The cart and checkout functions was disabled and replaced with enquiry form. This way, the products can be ready for the future conversion to e-commerce store without the need to upload the products again.

Custom Gutenberg blocks

The entire website is constructed using Gutenberg blocks, which can be easily reused and customized to create new variations for different pages.
